eLearning Scenarios based on 3C Model
ChallengeI use the “3C model” to construct my scenarios or interactive eLearning. My goal is to engage the learner and challenge his understanding. Present a situation, get him to process some information, reflect, and then let him make a decision.
|
ChoicesOnce the learner is challenged, he needs to make a decision (or series of decisions). I provide some choices to work through the challenge. The choices are all viable and realistic options.
|
ConsequencesEach choice produces a consequence, which doesn’t lead to immediate feedback in order to make the learning experience much more dynamic and more true to the way things work in real life.

Interactive eLearning Course Development
When designing a course, I apply Gagne's Nine Events of Instruction model, which is an excellent way for me to ensure that the learning result will be effective and systematic. Additionally it gives structure to my lesson plans and a holistic view to the eLearning.
|
My course design is a plan showing the type of instructional events, their order and the kind of activity taking place in each event. When designing a course plan I am always focused into the two most important factors: the objectives and the learners.

eLearning Bites with Articulate Storyline / Studio
MicrolearningI use Microlearning as part of my overall online training delivery, given the challenges of short attention spans of most adult learners
|
Learning NuggetsShort, focused learning nuggets (often 3-5 mins long or shorter) that meet the specific learning outcome I have to satisfy.
|
Device IndependentJust-in-time training that is available on multiple devices, extending to tablets and smartphones besides desktops and laptops.
|
Learning Management Systems (LMS)
I administrate users and courses as well as I use all available features and interactivity tools with external applications in the above LMSs either fully hosted in the cloud or locally. I also create SCORM eLearning courses using sophisticated course assembly tools that either included in the LMSs or they are external authoring tools, accompanied by a suite of platforms for sharing class modules, enabling integrations, and publishing courses.
Video and Cartoon Animation
Creation of animated video and multimedia slideshows mixed with photos, video clips, songs, and styles.
|
Short animations that engage learners and explain with impact. A very effective form of video or text communications to grab attention in the workplace.
|
Mindmapping
Using Mind Maps for course’s visual analysis, as a form of creative thinking in order to get as clear a picture of the subject in question as possible.
Flowcharts of Business Processes
I use flowcharts as a Visual representation of the sequence of steps and decisions needed to perform a process. Each step in the sequence is noted within a diagram shape. Steps are linked by connecting lines and directional arrows. This allows anyone to view the flowchart and logically follow the process from beginning to end.
Infographics
I use infographics as a quick and clear graphic visual means of communication to present information, data or knowledge. My infographics improve cognition by utilising graphics to enhance the human visual system’s ability to see patterns and trends.
